Hi everyone!
As soon as I opened my Outlook and saw the newest Angel Laides newsletter, I ignored all the other messages in order to see what those fabulous women were up to! When I saw that this new forum was up and running, I had to take a look.
I see that Deb posted exactly one hour before me. Woo hoo! I choose to look at it that way, rather than worrying that my life is sad because I am on-line on a Saturday night instead of out at a movie or art gallery opening or a gathering of witty people! No, Saturday evenings, I sit at my computer while listening to the four-hour Blues program on Jazz-FM with Danny Marks.
My name is Judi. Like Deb, I am the mother of two sons, aged 30 and 27. In the space of 15 months, they both married sweet girls. As the mother of the groom, my repsonsiblities were few. Basically, I showed up when I was told, smiled and made sure that my dress did not clash with the bridal party or the mother of the bride. It was easy!
I have been blessed with some interesting, rare and chronic health issues that make it impossible for me to use my fomidable talents to better serve my fellow human beings. There is a silver lining in this siuration, you know. I am qualified for the Disablity Tax Credit and a Disabled Parking Permit! Humour keeps me sane and requires less energy expenditure than weeping!
